इस दिन 1 9 65 में, श्रीला प्रभुपाद कृष्णा भक्ति का प्रचार के हेतु अमेरिका के लिए प्रस्थान किया था | उस समय उनके पास मार्त्र चालीस रूपया था | श्रीला प्रभुपाद ने उनके आध्यात्मिक गुरु के विशेष निर्देश में अंग्रेजी भाषी दुनिया भर में कृष्णा भक्ति का सन्देश को फैलाने निर्देश दिया था। On this day in 1965, Srila Prabhupada left Calcutta aboard the steamship Jaladuta and set out for America. He got a free ticket to travel to New York from the proprietor of Scindia Steamship Company, Smt. Sumati Morarji. He was the only passenger on board that small weathered cargo ship named Jaladuta.
