Bhaktivedanta Academy is an institution dedicated to illuminating society through spiritual education. Established in Māyāpur in 1984, the Academy overarches several schools including a boys’ gurukula and an adult-education program called Bhaktivedanta Theological Seminary. We aim to educate leaders for Śrīla Prabhupāda’s movement for the respiritualization of humanity, which is meant to effect a change in the entire course of human history. Our mission is to provide a facility for the Academy’s members to study, practice, and disseminate the teachings of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, along with corollary studies of the standard works of the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava ācāryas and the branches of Vedic philosophy, culture, and science in the context of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and Śrīla Prabhupāda’s teachings.
