She received her diksha from Prabhupada in 1970. In 1974 she left USA and settled down in Vrindavan. Daivi Shakti Mataji used to cook for Prabhupada. When temple was opened in 1975 she used to cook in temple, but mostly her temple service has been taking care of Prabhupada's house, she was temple secretary and overseeing Bhisma Dept, but her primary seva was book distribution. They have two book shops and a traveling Library Party to put SB sets in schools and libraries. Srila Prabhupada specifically gave her seva of book distribution and since 1974 she has not stopped distributing books.
