Nestled in the captivating hills of West Virginia, USA, is the beautiful temple and farm community called New Vrindavan. During the winter season, many devotees and newcomers enthusiastically participated in the winter retreat that ran every week for four days. For the participants, various spiritual programmes such as bhajans, kirtans and lectures were organised. There was an opportunity for everyone to explore ways to live harmoniously with nature. The importance of yoga and ayurveda for overall health and well-being was highlighted. All the participants got the opportunity to engage in cow seva. The participants were also given a chance to replenish themselves through nature walks. The entire team of devotees worked very hard to put this retreat together. Several such programmes are organised by various temples of Iskcon to engage people in loving devotional service towards Lord Krishna.
