Deity installation at Newtown, Kolkata | 7th June 22 | HKTV NEWS #shorts

Located in Kolkata, West Bengal, ISKCON Newtown is a spiritually vibrant community involved in gatherings of local devotees, youth services and children's activities with Lord Krishna at the center. It also organizes programs on cow care and protection, organic farming and rural education. A 4 day grand deity installation seminar was organized here from 19th to 22nd May. The deities were named as Sri Sri Gaura Nitai by HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj. During this ceremony, Maharaj addressed a huge gathering of devotees. He said that everybody present was very fortunate to witness the installation of Nitai Gauranga. These two personalities are the most compassionate. Glorifying the importance of cultivating service attitude, Maharaj said that service is the key to succeeding in spiritual life. In the pran pratishtha programme, yagya, kirtan and mahabhishek were organized followed by sringar darshan and aarti. The ceremony concluded with a cultural programme and sumptuous prasad.
