It goes without saying that ISKCON has played a monumental role in the upliftment of our society at large. Various social initiatives by ISKCON have received several accolades from all across the world. On its Constitutional Day. the government of Nepal conferred the prestigious Suprabal Janseva Shree award upon HG Patri Prabhu, co-regional secretary of ISKCON Nepal, and in charge of ISKCON Nepal’s Food For Life, Bhaktivedanta Hospital, Bhaktivedanta Gurukul and Paathshala. Suprabal Janseva Shree is one of the highest civilian awards of Nepal conferred for exemplary service to the country. Thanking the government for this recognition, HG Patri Prabhu dedicated this award to Srila Prabhupada. He said that Srila Prabhupada was a true visionary who envisioned Nepal as a region of harmony and peaceful co-existence based on the ancient teachings of The Bhagavad Gita. Born in Ukraine, Patri Prabhu is associated with ISKCON since the last 30 years and has rendered unparalleled service in many sectors.
