Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita released in Malayalam language Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, Kerala publicly presented before the residents the Malayalam translation of Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita at the holy land of Guruvayur. On this occasion, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Shri V Muraleedharan, released the nine-volume Chaitanya Charitamrita set in a grand manner. During his speech he said, “ Chaitanya Mahaprabhu never discriminated on the basis of gender, colour of skin, caste or religion and freely distributed his mercy on one and all. Remarkably, all 1250 sets were booked even before being published. The first and second copies were gifted to the head priest of Guruvayur Temple and to Mr Anand Krishna Swami, senior counsel advocate of Kerala High Court. HH Bhakti Vinod Swami, GBC of Kerala dedicated this book to Srila Prabhupada on the occasion of his 125th birth anniversary. His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaj, who had graced the occasion with his presence, said that this book will bring forth Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s mercy and will revolutionize the Sankirtana movement in Kerala.
