ISKCON Peurto Rico safe amidst Hurricane Fiona | 4th Oct 22 | HKTV NEWS #shorts

Devotees of The Lord are never disturbed in the face of difficulties and face any given challenge with full conviction. A recent example was witnessed in Peurto Rico, Caribbean Island of The United States. Recently, a storm named Fiona wreaked havoc in the coastal areas of America. Many affected areas are still reeling under tremendous destruction. According to the disaster department, Fiona also caused a lot of uproar in Puerto Rico, causing serious damage to all crops, trees and plants, while thousands of homes were deserted. But when they were contacted to for relief efforts, the devotees of ISKCON Puerto Rico said that they have not suffered any damage. They are completely safe and going about with their daily activities. The president of the temple, Mr. Arisudan Das, also confirmed that the temple was not damaged much and all the devotees were also safe. Although there is no electricity over there as of now, they told that they were already prepared for this because such calamities keep striking this place very often.
