Rishi Sunak becomes the first Indian origin PM of UK | 25th Oct 22 | HKTV NEWS #shorts

It is indeed a proud moment for all Indians as Sri Rishi Sunak has recently become the first Indian origin Prime Minister of UK. He has always been committed towards his religion and during his tenure as MP from Richmond, Yorkshire, he took oath on the Bhagavad Gita. He has always been appreciative of ISKCON. Previously during his election campaign, he had visited the ISKCON temple and had taken the blessings of Sri Sri Radha Krishna and Srila Prabhupada and had also performed go-seva. His wife, Akshata Murthy is the daughter of Sri Narayana Murthy, founder of the renowned information technology company, Infosys and provides support in the mission of food distribution to lacs of people in India. Mr Sunak’s mother in law, Mrs Sudha Murthy had recently released a book based on Srila Prabhupada’s life. We hope Sri Rishi Sunak fulfils his responsibility with full dedication and presents a new direction to the lives of the British citizens based on the ideals of Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
