First Youth Festival organized by ISKCON Solapur ISKCON has always attracted the youth towards spirituality and pure devotion to Lord Krishna, the latest example of which was recently witnessed in Solapur, Maharashtra. ‘Utsav’, a youth festival organized by ISKCON Solapur saw the participation of almost 2600 youths. Gone are days when it was widely believed that honoring Sanatan tradition, spirituality and devotion was meant to be taken up in the old age. This is now being presented by ISKCON in such a way that the youth is becoming more and more inclined towards adopting spirituality as a way of life. The young generation of today is always struggling to stay afloat amidst the extremely stressful modern life and for them this event proved to be just like an oasis in the middle of the desert. This event saw the participation of youth from colleges in Solapur as well as nearby places such as from Wallchand institute of technology, Orchid College of engineering, VM medical College, HNCC College, Sinhgad College of engineering. His Holiness Krishna Chaitanya Maharaj and HG Amogh Lila Prabhu were a part of this event. Young devotees presented a skit and melodious kirtan was performed followed by delicious prasad for all.
