Value Education competition Gita Contest organized in Jodhpur | 18th Dec 22 | HKTV NEWS #shorts

ISKCON has time and again propagated values and ideals in society through various ways. Recently, 3500 children from about 54 schools of Jodhpur participated in the Value education competition organised by ISKCON Jodhpur. This was a two part competition, the first one for students from Standard 4th to 7th and the second one for 8th to 12th. President of ISKCON Jodhpur, His Grace Sundarlal Prabhuji said that inculcating values and morals in children make them good individuals and it also lays the foundation of a strong and a joyful society. Therefore, over and above academic curriculum, scriptures should also be widely taught. In level 1- Pradeep Deedar from Minerva Noble Academy bagged the first prize while Harsh Vishroi from Aditya Public School stood second and Arnav Joshi from BR Birla School stood third. Whereas in level 2- Manoj from Balaji Public School stood first, Saurabh Prajapat from Adarsh Vidya Mandir stood second and Ravindra Singh Chauhan from Sri Vaishnav school received the third prize. Such competitions provide an opportunity to avail of free copy of Bhagavad Gita and also awakens the desire in children to read it.
