From time to time various programmes have been organized by ISKCON to promote social harmony. The Youth Interfaith Walk is an event that seeks to bring together people from different religious views and cultures. With the aim of increasing social cohesion and dialogue among youth from different religious communities, Ms. Fathima Jiwani decided to launch this initiative as part of her fellowship with the 'King Abdullah International Center for Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue'. KAICIID is a unique intergovernmental organization that brings together religious leaders, followers of different religious traditions to seek common solutions to religious problems. Under this programme, participants visited places of worship of different religions and tried to understand their worship practices. ISKCON Juhu welcomed everyone to their temple while giving information about the services of the devotees living here, books, preaching activities and Prasad distribution. Such efforts will promote awareness and understanding of co-existence among the youth in the times to come and will go a long way in strengthening communal harmony.
