ISKCON is always engaged in preaching Krishna bhakti in every town and village. Bhakti Center for Culture and Education, Pune organized Bhagavat saptah by renowned ISKCON speaker, HG Sarvabhauma Prabhu at Vishal Nagar. More than 500 people used to attend this programmme everyday from far off places to listen to the simple and soothing lectures of Lord Krishna's pastimes mentioned in the Bhagwat and the number kept steadily increasing. HG Sarvabhauma Prabhu has always been famous for presenting the Lord's pastimes and teachings in an interesting manner. And the people of Pune also took advantage of listening to the Bhagwat in an interesting style. The katha used to conclude with aarti offered to The Bhagavat, melodious kirtan and prasad. Several people accepted the complete set of 18 books directly from Prabhuji and respectfully welcomed Granthraj Shrimad Bhagavatam in their homes. In the end, chhappan bhog was offered to the Lord. Such programmes always bring people closer to The Lord as they become recipients of His Mercy.
