Preaching work in every village of Odisha ISKCON has always engaged in preaching Krishna bhakti in every town and village. One such example was recently witnessed in Maulabhanja village situated in Ganjam district in Odisha. ISKCON Brahmapur in cooperation with Bhaktivedanta Club from IIT Patna organized a seven day session on Srimad Bhaagavat katha based on the glorious pastimes of Lord Krishna. The speaker of Bhaagwat Katha, His Holiness Prabodhanand Saraswati Swami Maharaj conveyed the deep knowledge of Bhagwat to the general public in a very simple language. This programme went on for seven days and more than 12000 people participated in it. Apart from this, people from different districts of Odisha presented a variety of programmes and set up many stalls displaying their art. Every day after the katha, delicious Prasadam was also arranged for everyone. It is indeed commendable that despite the cold temperatures, this programme was successfully organized by His Grace Pancharatna Prabhu, President, ISKCON Brahmapur and His Grace Raman Manohar Prabhu, Director, Bhaktivedanta Club, IIT Patna along with the cooperation of local residents. Such programmes will immensely help in spreading the preaching efforts of ISKCON in every household.
