Grand procession from Gaya ISKCON temple The devotees of The Lord always desire to distribute The Lord’s mercy to one. With this objective in mind, seated on a grand chariot, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Sri Nityananda Prabhu were taken out in procession across the city of Gaya, starting from ISKCON temple. The Founder Acharya of ISKCON, Srila Prabhupada’s deity was also seated on the chariot. Dignitaries of Gaya like ASP Mukesh Kumar, SDO Indravir Kumar, Dr AN Rai along with several devotees of ISKCON witnessed beautiful aarti of The Lordships on the chariot. HG Rambhadra Prabhuji while addressing the public said that in Kaliyuga, Lord Sri Krishna appeared in the form of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu along with Lord Balarama in the form of Sri Nityananda Prabhu and preached the glories of The Holy Names in the entire universe. HG Radhapad Prabhuji said that since the fallen jivas of Kaliyuga do not go to the temples of The Lord, out of His infinite mercy, The Lord Himself comes out on the streets to bestow His darshan on everybody. 35 ft tall rath was decorated with colourful flowers. The streets were adorned with splendid rangolis. Devotees sang Hare Krishna kirtans and danced ecstatically. Chappan Bhog was offered to The Lord twice during the yatra and then distributed among all. This Yatra passed through prominent places of Gaya and returned to the temple. This was followed by maha aarti in the temple and prasad.
