ISKCON initiatives lauded by Gujarat CM The government as well as the general public have time and again praised various initiatives of ISKCON towards preaching the glories of sanatana dharma as well as social welfare. Since the last many years, ISKCON devotees have been engaged in spreading Krishna bhakti and arranging for pure vegetarian meals for one and all. Shri Bhupendra Patel, honourable CM, Gujarat, presented HG Moortimaan Das, President ISKCON Varaccha with a letter of appreciation towards the commendable efforts of ISKCON. HG Moortimaan Prabhuji has encouraged preaching efforts for sanatana dharma, goseva, Food For Life throughout Varaccha and Surat since the last several years. Along with worshipping Lord Sri Krishna and disseminating the teachings of Gita and Bhagwat, ISKCON has been a center of love, peace and compassion. HG Moortimaan Prabhuji himself, while leading a simple life, distributes prasad to thousands of needy people especially under the Food for Life project along with Goseva. It is a matter of great pride for ISKCON that his dutiful nature has earned tremendous respect and honor by the top leader of the state.
