ISKCON Gurukul showcases science & devotion | 13th April 23 | HKTV NEWS #shorts

Recently, a unique example of the co-existence of devotion and science was witnessed when a team of 15 students from Bhaktivedanta Gurukul & International School Vrindavan participated in the International Robotics Championship. It was the biggest tech challenge in the world and the first of its kind in India where 60 teams from India and 12 from abroad participated. The championship took place at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune, Maharashtra. Around 1500 people including students, parents and volunteers etc. were present for this competition spanning across 3 days. Bhaktivedanta Gurukul & International School received accolades for participating and was ranked 11th out of 72. The highlight of the event was that all the children of Gurukul participated in their Indian attire of dhoti kurta, which inspired many parents and teachers. They performed kirtan in the stadium, spoke about Shrimad Bhagavad-gita and performed Harinam. Thus the display of Indian culture and robotics impressed one and all and they unanimously appreciated the preaching efforts of ISKCON.
