Recipe - Rasam

INGREDIENTS: - • 4 Spoon Black pepper • 1 Spoon cumin seeds/Jeera • 1/2 Spoon Asafoetida/hing • 1/2 Mustard seeds/ Rai • 3-4 Dry Red chilly • Curry leaves • 2-3 Tomato • 1-1/2 Cup tamarind juice • Oil • Salt as required PREPARATION: - *Make a power by mixing Black pepper and cumin seeds. *Chop the tomatoes in medium size. *Soak the tamarind in water for 20-30 mins. METHOD: - *Heat a pan on stove. *Pour oil and after a minute add Mustard seeds, Currey leaves, Asafoetida and red chilly. *Add the powder of black pepper and jeera to the oil and mix it well. *Later add chopped tomatoes and leave it for few minutes. *Later pour the tamarind juice into the pan and add some water as required. *Boil it for 3-5 mins. *Delicious tasty Rasam is ready to serve with boiled or steamed Rice.
