Hare Krishna festival organised by ISKCON Dhanbad Hare Krishna festival was successfully organised at Dhanbad in Jharkhand. The residents of Dhanbad enjoyed this festival organised at New Town Hall, the biggest auditorium in the city. The event started with melodious rendition of Hare Krishna kirtan by foreign devotees of Lord Sri Krishna. The auspicious lighting of the oil lamp by the local legislator, Mr Raj Sinha, Mrs Ragini Singh from Singh Mansion, the editor of Shubham Sandesh, Mr Gyanvardhan Mishra along with few such dignitaries was followed by Chakra dance and Ribbon Sticks performed by foreign devotees accompanying HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj. The audience witnessed different costume styles, props and incomparable dance formations. Bhagavat katha from HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj Himself had the audience in rapt attention. Citing the inspiring example of devotees from Russia and Ukraine having taken to Krishna consciousness thereby making their lives successful, HG Naam Prem Prabhuji urged Indians to take to Krishna bhakti with determination and seriousness. Adequate seating arrangements were made for the attendees while a massive LED screen was put up outside Town Hall for the transmission of this event. More than 2000 people relished delicious prasad at the end of the programme.
